Tel Aviv, Israel
It took Amiram Kadosh exactly 3 years to become one of the leading names and busiest djs within the ultra-competitive underground scene of Tel Aviv city. 36 months in which he moved from being a promoter of Hip Hop nights to playing upwards of 20 gigs a month (!) at the coolest Techno and House clubs, massive raves and private beach parties the city has to offer.
And when things move this fast, you have to put it down to 2 things – pure talent, and a deep-rooted passion for music.
And if you ask anyone in the know in the Tel Aviv scene, this is definitely just the start of the journey. At merely 24, Kadosh’s sets are the talk of the town throughout the Israels nightlife, and he’s already starting to create a major buzz with a slew of exciting future releases ready to explode on to the worlds dancefloors.
Right now is that quite-before-the-storm phase, where the stage is set for this ambitious and ultra-talented producer to spread his thrilling musical vision far and wide.
Having learned piano since he was just 10, and diving head first into the world of hip hop and soul turned music into the driving force in his life that it has been for the last decade, often neglecting social commitments and day to day activities to concentrate on his passion for piano playing and the raw, all encompassing impact of the hip hop world.
House music came afterwards. And just in time as he was looking for that next phase, the next musical evolution to keep him excited and thrilled.
And now, 2018, Kadosh’s exhilarating sets and productions (On Plant 74, Oblack and more) regularly grace the sound systems of the best clubs in Tel Aviv and all throughout the country. From The Block to The Cat and The Dog, Beit Maariv to the Bootelg. Plus an ever increasing stream of overseas gigs, Ipse in Berlin and Waggenbau in Hamburg, to name a few. He just joined the ranks of Alex Niggemann’s AEON label with a first release coming late summer and a scheduled release on Watergate records with Acid Pauli, Patrice Baumel, Adana Twins and more to follow soon afterwards.
He’s played with anyone from Deadmau5 to Red Axes, &ME, Gus Gus to Marcus Worgull, and Ame, Dixon, Richie Hawtin and Marco Carola regularly play his unreleased tracks to no less then electrifying response.
All this, merely 3 years since he first started looking for tracks on Beatport. 3 years that saw him quickly rise to the top of the ranks of Israeli djs and producers destined for the big league.
So now, after 36 intense months of dancefloor and studio wizardry, and barely into his mid 20’s, Kadosh is set to take his rare talent and skill to the next level. And with a deep passion and unsurpassed dedication to the game, we will see it happen sooner than anyone ever imagined…
